You can read YT Astra articles without creating an account. A free membership lets you save your work and access full weekly strategies. This page explains how we handle the information needed to provide those features.
What we collect
When you join, we collect your name, email address and account credentials. A username is created for you and can be changed later. Supabase handles password authentication; passwords are not made available to our application in readable form after authentication.
We store the boards, ideas, calendar dates, briefs, research links, saved article links and thumbnail images you choose to add. We also store appearance, time zone and email preferences. Hosting, authentication and email providers process operational information such as IP addresses, request logs and delivery events.
How we use it
We use this information to operate your account and tools, keep your work private, provide support, maintain the website and deliver the emails you agreed to receive. We do not sell your private workspace content.
Your private workspace
Other members cannot access your boards or video plans. Thumbnail images are stored privately and displayed using temporary links. The upload process creates an image derivative for the preview and removes embedded metadata. Avoid adding sensitive information to titles or filenames.
The services we use
Vercel hosts the website. Supabase provides authentication, database and image storage. Resend handles automated account emails and weekly email delivery. Google Workspace handles our support and business inboxes. These providers may process information in locations outside your country.
Emails
Membership includes weekly strategy emails. You can turn them off in Settings or use the unsubscribe option in an email, while keeping access to your account. Password resets and essential account messages are handled separately. Email open and click tracking are disabled in our sending-domain settings.
We keep subscription choices and relevant delivery events to respect unsubscribe requests and prevent repeated delivery to addresses that bounce or report spam. An email address that has not been verified is not treated as proof of ownership.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage remembers your light, dark or system appearance preference. These are used to operate the site and your account.
Your choices
In Settings, you can edit your profile, change your password or email, manage weekly emails, export your data and delete your YT Astra membership. Deletion removes your workspace records and thumbnails. Operational backups and delivery-suppression records may take longer to expire or be retained as needed to respect your preferences and maintain security.
If your login is also used by another application, deleting YT Astra membership does not delete that shared login. Contact us if you need help with a wider account deletion request.
